Position: Front Desk

Description: Community volunteer wanted for a fast-paced but very enjoyable volunteer position working at the front desk. Must have good attention to detail and be able to multitask. You will greet patients, answer phones, set appointments, triage patient questions, prepare patient charts for upcoming clinics, etc.

Position: Referral Letter Specialist/Clerical
Days: Flexible
Time: Flexible
Description: Completes and sends form referral letters to patients, physicians' offices, and hospitals. Must be familiar with medical office terms, have basic computer skills, and know how to operate a fax machine. A knolwdge of written Spanish is very desirable, but not necessary.

Position: Phlebotomist
Days: Tues &/or Wed mornings
Time: 9:00-1:00
Description: Trained phlebotomist to draw blood on patients as ordered by Clinicians.

Position: NP/PA/MD's
Days: Choice of M/T/W
Time: 9:15-Noon OR 5:30-8PM(Tues/Weds)
Description: Licensed clinicians to diagnose & treat patients with chronic illness and some acute care needs. Work w/ great volunteer support staff! Malpractice is covered. In house pharmacy. No strings attached after clinic ends.

Position: Pharmacist
Days: Choice of Tuesday or Wednesday morning, Wednesday evening
Time: 9:00-Noon, 5:30-8:30pm
Description: Licensed pharmacist to assist pharmacy manager with pharmacy operations particularly dispensing of medications and special projects.

Position: Dentist
Days: Tuesday evenings, 1st & 3rd of month
Time: 5:30-8:30
Description: Licensed dentist to perform dental extractions only. No strings attached after clinic ends.

Position: Dental Assistant
Days: Tuesday evenings, 1st & 3rd of month
Time: 5:30-8:30
Description: Assist multiple dentists with tooth extractions only.
