Clinical Mental Health Counseling Supervisor
The Clinical Mental Health Counseling Supervisor will provide weekly individual or triadic on-site supervision to the Eastern Mennonite University Clinical Mental Health Counseling internship students placed at the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Free Clinic. The supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring clinical documentation completed by the MAC internship students, completing formative and summative evaluations of interns, and intervening in clinical crises. The supervisor will attend relevant Free Clinic staff meetings.
Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist
● Licensed Professional Counselor
● At least 5 years experience as a clinical mental health counselor and 2 years experience as a clinical supervisor.
● Advanced training in supervision and consultation
● Skilled in the treatment of substance use
● Skilled in interprofessional collaboration
This position is grant-funded for 3 years through a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Behavioral Health and Workforce Education Training (BHWET) grant awarded to EMU’s MA in Counseling program. The supervisor will be compensated at a $30/hr rate for 3 - 5 hours per week on an 8 month renewable contract.
